The following documents must be provided to apply for a visa. If necessary, the Singapore Consulate has the right to request the applicant to provide other materials.

1. Passport: Original passport and photocopy of passport photo page. Passport should be valid for more than six months (from date of entry) and have at least one blank visa page.

2. Form 14A visa application form (original): a complete application form in English and signed by the applicant.

3. Color photos: two (one for posting on the form, the other for scanning). Photos should meet the following requirements:

o Two-inch, color, recent photo within three months with a white background;

o The front face is bareheaded (such as wearing a hat or accessories according to special religious or custom requirements, the hat or accessories must not cover the applicant's facial features).

4. Copy of Chinese ID card.

5. a. Proof of employment:

If the applicant is an on-the-job employee, he must provide an original copy of the on-the-job certification letter issued by the employer. The certification letter should indicate that the company agrees to take leave, and specify in detail the applicant's employment time, position and salary in the company. The employment certification letter must list the address, telephone and fax numbers of the company and relevant contact persons. The letter must be stamped with the official seal.

If the applicant does not have a job, he must provide documents to prove his personal financial situation, such as a bank statement (original and photocopy). There is no specific requirement for the amount of the bank deposit certificate but the bank issue date must be within 1 month of the visa application submission date. This certification should truthfully reflect your financial ability.

b. Household register: applicant’s household registration book (full copy, each page: original and photocopy). If it is a collective household registration, you can provide the original and a copy or apply for a household registration certificate at the police station.

6. a. Printed copy of business registration profile of the Singapore company: A printed copy of the latest business registration profile of the Singapore company issued by the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority of Singapore (http://www.acra.gov.sg/), the printout of the profile The date should not exceed 6 months from the submission date. Applicants who are invited by Singapore government agencies or universities or who attend exhibitions, large conferences, etc. held in Singapore do not need to present the V39A form and the business registration profile of the Singapore company. Applicants only need to submit the original invitation letter issued by the institution or organization to the applicant. The invitation letter must have the signature of the institution or organization inviter and the applicant's name.

b. Original Form V39A (Introduction Letter): A copy of the original completed in English by the representative of the Singapore-registered company (must be a Singapore citizen or a Singapore permanent resident over the age of 21). The letter must state the address, telephone, fax number of the Singapore company, company seal and the Singapore identity card number and signature of the company representative.
