Employer Sponsored EP Pass is also called Ordinary Employment Pass

Ordinary EP Pass: If you do not hold the status of a shareholder, but only apply as a company director or employee, it is an ordinary Employment Pass (EP), and the applicant is a company employee. There is no difference in the pass types between Self-Employed Employment Pass (EP) and Employment Pass (EP), but the role of the applicant in the company is different. Due to the different roles of the company, the approval criteria for applying for permanent residence (PR) will also vary.

General Employment Pass Application Conditions

Salary: Starting from S$4,500, at least a salary of S$10,000 can be used to apply for a Dependent Pass;

Education: The Employment Pass (EP) has no special requirements for education since March 1, 2014. Young applicants need to have a diploma from an excellent institution and an employment salary of 4,500. Older applicants must have higher salaries and corresponding work experience and quality of work.

Ordinary Employment Pass application process:

1. Material preparation;

1) Personal detailed resume (must state the salary of each job)

2) Copy of ID card (both front and back);

3) A copy of the passport valid for more than 6 months;

4) English academic information printed by Xuexin.com;

2. The company or labor agency applies for the Employment Pass EP.
